1.THE FLAG
    Its consist of 13 equal horizontal stripes of red alternating with white. Also with a blue rectangle in the canton. It has 50 small white five-pointed stars. The 50 stars represents the 50 states of USA and the 13 stripes represents the 13 british colonies that declared the independence from the great Britain and became the first states of the union.

It is formed by 13 red and white stripes coverin the eagle's breast it is supported by the american eagle as a symbol that americans rely on their own virtued. The blue at the flag, represents the president, vigilance, justice and perceverance. The white at the flag, represents the USA and symbol of purity and inocence. The red represents valor. The eagle grasps and olive branch that represent the power of peace and war.

United States is situated in the North America and it has 9.059.155 kilomitres square. It is one of the biggest countries in the world because it has 50 states and a Federal District.

It also about three hundred and sixteen millon people. It is one of the most multicultural nations because it has a lot of immigration from many countries. Its borders are Canada in the North and Mexico in the South. USA surronded by oceans like Pacific ocean in the West, Atlantic ocean in the East and the caribbean sea in the South.

                     

5. HISTORY

 North of America was taken up by Indians and English people took up fastly in the rest of the land, there was a war because wanted to get the power and on 4^th of July in 1775 English people got the independence. In 1787 was proclaimed the constitution, so two years late, was born U.S.A by the president George Washington.

The USA continued their expansion with the conquest of the west, ficeded battles with settles of these lands, the American Indians. These were defeated at the end of the century XIX and survivors were confined in reserves.

After, when Europe was in the second War, the Japanese bombed the base military American of Peace Harbor, provoking that USA will former active port in the big war, using the first time in the history the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

USA is how the high potential world it was always seen involved in the world, the cold war, Vietnam, Afghanistan, the Gulf, the Balkans, always playing a key paper.

The development of the culture of the United States of America has been marked by many different sources. American popular culture is expressed through all media including movies, television, music, comics and sports. For example: Mickey Mouse, Marilyn Monroe, The Simpsons, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Madonna, Popeye, Snoopy and Superman, Barbie, etc. It is important to note that the United States tends to be an exporter of culture, and also other cultural traditions absorbed relatively easily, such like origami, soccer, anime, pizza and yoga.

In United States, we have to say that they have american públic education witch is directed by the state itself and by local goverment.

The economy of USA is a mixed capitalist economy which is characterized by a lot of naturals resources, in developed infrastructure and high productivity.

In despite of, the economy of USA is post-industry the nation is being an industry potency. In the business, the high activity by their income is the wholesale trade and retail; by net incomes being chemistry industry the best. The USA is the third producer of petroleum the most important of in the world, in this way, the high importer of this product. Also is the first producer in electric energy and nuclear energy like as nature gas. While the agriculture is the high producer of sweet corn and soy. All this production contribute that stock exchange of New York is the best in the world. Also, the factories USA of Coca-Cola, McDonalds, and Microsoft are the brands more recognized in the word.

The East Coast of the United States, with a large number of rivers and streams along the Atlantic coast, including many sites potential for the construction of mills and infrastructure necessary for industrialization science and technology.  A wide range of natural and social resources, along with a job offer made ​​for excess rural and domestic worker mass immigration of European countries allowed industrialization. The cuisine is predominant in the United States similar to that of other countries Westerners. Wheat is the primary cereal grain . The American cuisine Traditional uses ingredients such as turkey , venison , deer , potatoes , sweet potatoes , corn and maple syrup , food consumed by Native Americans and the early inhabitants of Europe. Pork and barbecues , potato chips and chocolate chip cookies are trademarks characteristics of American food . The food called soul food ,created by African slaves , is popular among Americans Southerners and among most African Americans. Syncretic cuisine such as Louisiana cuisine , Cajun, and Tex -Mex are the most important in the region. The most representative American dishes such as apple pie fried chicken , hamburgers and hot dogs derive from the recipes of various immigrants. Moreover, French fries, Mexican dishes such as burritos and tacos , Italian pasta and have been incorporated into market.4 Americans tend drinking coffee or tea, and more than half of the adult population drinks at least one cup a day .The market for U.S. industries is what has caused the juice orange and milk drinks are consumed in the desayuno.6 During the 1980s and 1990 , the average daily calories consumed by U.S. increased by 24 %, 4 this is due to the creation of local fast food , also triggering the " obesity epidemic " . the soft drinks are also very popular , the sugary provide 9% of  the calories consumed daily.

13.SPORTS

The sports more important are the Baseball, Basketball and the Ice Hockey.

·         Baseball was invented in the Northeast in the late eighteenth century, is the national sport of the United States since the late nineteenth century.

·         Basketball was invented by James Naismith in 1891. Its spread in the country and later around the world had as main actor in YMCA. The first professional basketball league was founded in 189       Ice hockey is very popular in U.S.A regions where it snows in winter. However, the National Hockey League has teams in southern cities. The league also attracts players from Canada, where he is a national sport.
